Hepatitis A Treatment

Treatment

There is no specific treatment for Hepatitis A. However, the most common treatment for hepatitis A is considered to be the bed rest. It is also recommended to drink a lot of fluids, especially if diarrhea and vomiting are occurring. Another measure that should be taken is to avoid alcohol.

Although there's no medical treatment after the onset of hepatitis A, there are possibilities of diminishing some of the symptoms (such as pain or nausea) by using certain medication prescribed by your doctor.
