Prevention of Hepatitis G
There is no vaccine available against the hepatitis G virus. Since the virus is spread predominantly by blood to blood, the only way to prevent it is to adopt rigorous measurements of personal and general health, such as:
- The disuse of injected drugs; never share drugs, needles, syringes;
- Do not share personal care items that might have blood on them (razors, toothbrushes).
- Avoid getting a tattoo or body piercing in untrustworthy places.
- The correct usage of latex condoms every time one have sex with an unstable partner;
